Tongue & Groove Garden Sheds
We make our tongue and groove garden sheds with sturdy interlocking designs for long-lasting durability. Using dip-treated 12mm red cedar planks, we cut a short tongue into the edge of each timber plank.

So that you can find the perfect 6x3 garden shed for you, we offer a range of customisable features to choose from. For example, we offer 2 different roof styles - Pent (flat rectangular roof) and Apex (pointed in the middle roof) as well as different colour options to suit your preferences, we have red, orange, and brown.
If you are concerned about security in your shed, we offer you the choice of whether you would like windows, as removing windows will remove the chance of someone smashing the window and breaking in.
Also, depending on what you are storing in your shed will depend on where you want the door to be positioned and the height you need the shed to be. For example, if you are storing garden equipment it is unlikely you will need it to exceed 6’7ft tall, but if you are hanging bikes from the roof inside your shed, you will need the shed to be on the taller side (6’7-7’0 ft).
We offer 6x3 sheds at all different costs, our lowest costing shed is £239 and our highest costing is £499.
Once you have decided on which 6x3 garden shed you would like to buy, all you need to do is purchase and we will deal with the rest. We will make it for you and then deliver and install it for free in your garden. We deliver across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

A tongue and groove garden shed is a shed that is designed with interlocking timber boards.
Each board has a 'tongue' on one edge and a corresponding 'groove' on the other, which slot perfectly in place to form a tight, sturdy structure.
Tongue-and-groove sheds are extremely weather-resistant, making them perfect for UK homes where lots of rain and strong winds are expected.
The interlocking nature of the boards creates a long-lasting shed, perfect for those wanting to invest in a garden feature that will last years. Its smooth appearance also makes it visually appealing, adding a beautiful touch to your garden.
Plus, the interlocked nature of the boards makes the shed harder to penetrate, offering extra protection against potential intruders.
While tongue-and-groove sheds are made from interlocking boards, which provide a tighter seal, overlap sheds are constructed by overlapping horizontal timber boards, which can result in gaps over time.
Overlap sheds are indeed more affordable and easier to install; however, tongue and groove sheds are less prone to warping, so you get more for your time and money.
If you’re looking for something more rustic, then an overlap shed may be the best choice for you. However, if you’d prefer a more luxurious shed, tongue and groove sheds are perfect for you.
At Atlas Sheds, we use high-grade timber harvested from sustainable forests for our tongue and groove sheds.
This includes dip-treated 12mm red cedar planks, designed to handle anything your garden throws at it.
No garden shed is fully waterproof; however, our tongue and groove sheds offer unmatched water resistance, preventing leaks, mould growth, and mildew in your shed.
Our sheds provide the best protection against moisture, with a powerful vapour barrier, strong interlocking boards, and a resistant felt roof. We recommend applying high-quality wood treatments to your shed to add an extra layer of resistance to moisture.
Yes! Sheds always require a base to protect them from moisture in the ground.
A proper base ensures structural integrity, prevents subsidence, and protects the shed from ground moisture, which can lead to rot. It also adds an extra layer of protection against pests. At Atlas Sheds, you can choose a variety of base types, compatible with grass and concrete surfaces.
